Trafford Centre Mural

18 August 2021

Earlier this summer I was commissioned by The Trafford Centre to design and paint a huge colourful uplifting mural for the ‘We Heart the Arts’ festival,  based on the themes of Hope, Inclusivity and Freedom.

I painted my take on the Manchester Worker Bee, the bee is flying around working hard to spread positive happy vibes and joy for everyone.

I added a few interactive elements for children for the school holidays. There are 5 mini bees to spot within the design, some of them are hiding! And there are a few elements which create fun photo opportunities such as the cat ears.

If you want to visit the mural its not far from the bus station and tram stops and the nearest car park is Regent Crescent car park. It is located at the empty Top Shop unit on the upper level. There is other fantastic artwork to see by the lovely Luke Passey on the Lower level!
