Caroline grew up in the 80’s and 90’s in South Manchester, listening to tapes, playing with Spirograph and wearing roller skates. (Not all at the same time unfortunately) She nipped over to Liverpool for a few years and studied BA (Hons) Theatre and Performance Design where she developed her skills in technical drawing (by hand) and large-scale scenic painting and prop making. Now she can be found back at home in Manchester creating hand drawn illustrations or painting on walls and helping other people to create artwork too.
Inspired by natural history illustrations and Art Deco artists such as Erte mixed up with a love for Geometry and all things symmetrical and being a nature lover she especially likes drawing things with wings and more recently things with fins!
Caroline also has over 10 years community arts experience and provides a whole host of workshops and projects for young people, schools and community groups, please contact her for more details.
